Charlie's Angels Holds Pup Up Adoption Day April 20

April 18, 2019

This weekend some people in Brevard might be looking for Easter eggs, but if you’re looking for a new pet to add to your family, you’ll want to stop by Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue’s Pup Up Adoption Day on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The adoption event is being held on the corner of Main and Johnson streets at the former Safe Attic store adjacent to the Farmer’s Market.

“We are excited to be in Brevard, talking about animal rescue and, hopefully, finding forever homes for dogs,” said Carol Clay, vice president of Charlie’s Angels. “In addition to visiting with the dogs who are available for adoption, we’ll have giveaways for kids, a raffle for a basket full of dog related goodies and lots of information for people who want to get more involved with animal rescue.”

Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization that got its start in Transylvania County over a decade ago. Today, the organization operates its own shelter in Fletcher and rescues animals from municipal shelters in three counties. The group has been featured on the national news for an innovative adoption program they created in partnership with the Aloft Asheville hotel.
