Veterans Museum To Present Free Lecture: 'Scramble The Seawolves'

On Thursday, April 25, at 2 p.m., the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas will present a lecture by Brevard resident David Smale titled "Scramble the Seawolves." Smale was a door gunner and crew chief for two years with the Navy's first and only dedicated attack helicopter gunship squadron.

Commissioned in Vietnam in 1967, Helicopter Attack (LIGHT) Squadron 3 Seawolves (also known as HAL-3) operated for five years in the Mekong Delta region providing air support for the Brown Water Navy and the SEAL Teams.
