Children's Advocacy Center To Open

The Transylvania County Children’s Advocacy Center will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting Monday at 107 S. Johnson St. in Brevard.

Between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., Sheriff David Mahoney, District Attorney Greg Newman and Darrell Renfroe, the director of the Transylvania County Department of Social Services, will talk about the impact children’s advocacy centers are having across the state.
