Franklin Storms Past Brevard In Pivotal Conference Clash

Tuesday's rubber match between two of the top 2A teams in the state didn't go the way Blue Devils fans were hoping for.

After taking a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first, Brevard gave up 14 unanswered runs as the Franklin Panthers ran away with a 14-1 victory.

It was the second time this season that Franklin has won big on Brevard's turf, as the Panthers defeated the Lady Blue Devils 16-6 at home in early March.

Brevard came up with an 8-3 victory at Franklin in the rematch, but the Panthers dominated Tuesday's affair.
