Marie (nee Rozmary) Klim

Marie (nee Rozmary) Klim, 89, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019, in Knoxville, Tenn.

She was born Jan. 1, 1930, to Edward and Sophia (Brosofske) Rozmary in Detroit, Mich. She attended Pershing High School in Detroit and dreamed of being a gym teacher. But instead, she went into office work, until she married Michael Klim in 1963 and settled down to raise a family.

They loved to travel and fell in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina. Upon retirement, they moved to Brevard to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the mountains.

Her husband, Michael and sister, Alice (Rozmary) Eisenman, predeceased her.

She is survived by her son, Edward, of Tennessee; daughter, Lisanne (Klim) Heyward, of Maine; grandchildren, Matthew and Ashlyn Klim, of Tennessee; brother, Edward Rozmary, of Michigan; and sister, JoAnne (Rozmary) Doyle, of Brevard.

An inurnment ceremony will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brevard Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 11 a.m.
