BRCC Students Spend Week Studying In Cuba

Blue Ridge Community College students and faculty recently participated in the college's first-ever study abroad trip, held during the college's spring break, from April 13-20.

Ten students and two faculty members spent seven days in Cuba, visiting the capitol, Havana, and a small agricultural town, Vinales. The trip, part of a semester long class, exposed students to various elements of Cuban history and culture and allowed students to earn credits toward their degrees.
