Guilty Pleas Heard, Arrests Made

Larry Turlington pleaded guilty Thursday to one felony count of obtaining money by false pretense and was sentenced to 20 months in the N.C. Department of Corrections.

Turlington’s plea came during Criminal Superior Administrative Court, with Judge Peter Knight presiding.

In other cases:

•Tomi Lynn George pleaded guilty to one felony count of probation violation. George received an active sentence of 120 days.

•Timothy Gosnell pleaded guilty to five counts of felony conspiracy and one felony count of conspiracy to commit felony larceny. Gosnell received a six-month suspended sent...
