School Board Discusses Bond Choices

In a special meeting Tuesday morning, the Transylvania County Board of Education discussed the top choices of architects and CMARs (construction managers at risk) to implement the renovations and additions to Brevard High School and Rosman High/Middle School that are to be funded by the $68 million bond passed last November.

Earlier this year a School Bond Construction Comm-ittee comprised of members of the Board of Education, the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners and school staff interviewed eight architectural firms and five CMARs.
