From D-Day To V-E Day: Two WWII Veterans Who Helped Win The War In Europe To Speak Sunday At Museum

Join the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas on the 75th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, at 2 p.m., to hear stories told by WWII veterans of D-Day and of fighting through to V-E Day.

The invasion of Normandy, on June 6, 1944, was the largest amphibious operations in history. This operation began the liberation of German-occupied France from Nazi control and laid the foundations of the Allied victory: V-E Day, May 8, 1945.
