There will be classes during the day as well as in the evening. The first of these hands-on workshops will be on canning fruits and fruit juices using the hot water bath method. At the second workshop, soft spreads (jam, jelly, etc.) and pickles will be prepared and preserved using the hot water bath method. The third workshop will be on using the pressure canner for vegetables. The fourth workshop will be on preserving meat by using the pressure canner.
