County Superior Court Comes To An End

In Transylvania County Superior Court last week, a jury found Aderian Rogers guilty of one felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Rogers was sentenced to 18 months of supervised probation, with a suspended sentence of 18 months.

As previously reported, Rogers, then 42, was arrested on April 14, 2018, for one felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

In other action, Judge William Coward heard the following pleas:

•Daniel Evan Lewis pleaded guilty to one felony count of second-degree burglary, one felony count of larceny, one felony count of possession of burglary tools and one felony count of possession of stolen goods.

He was sentenced to 13 months minimum and 25 months maximum in the N.C. Department of Corrections.

•Gerald Tyrone Price pleaded guilty to four felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering and three felony counts of breaking and entering.

He was sentenced to 12 months of supervised probation, with a six to 17 months suspended sen-tence.
