A Lesson On Cherokee History

Joe McGaha came prepared for Yvonne Dickson-McCall’s presentation on Cherokee history. Over the years of gardening at his home off Walnut Hollow Road, Joe has found a good number of arrowheads. By far the most unique thing he has found, though, is the top of a tomahawk, which he shared with Dickson-McCall and others at last Thursday’s Dunn’s Rock Community Center dinner and program. The packed house included friends from as close as Lake Toxaway, Williamson Creek and Pisgah Forest, and as far away as England.
