Hands Of Robbers

The parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37, refers to the love of God and love of our neighbors. What we, as a nation, are doing at the border with Mexico, is a human rights travesty. This treating men, women and children as if they are cattle, even worse, places us as the robbers in the scripture. These are our brothers and sisters and they should be treated with caring dignity!

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.” This is from a plaque on the Statue of Liberty.

Our U.S.A. is built on the backs of those who came here much like our southern neighbors. For the strength and greatness of our nation, we must do much better.
