The Transylvania Times -

Worst President

July 22, 2019

The president is correct: the four congressional women of color should go back to their own country and correct the corrupt and inept government, incompetent administration, and misguided foreign policies there. Fortunately, these women are American and so must turn to the United States and do their best to remove the Single Worst President in American history.

His promised trade deals have proven destructive to American agriculture and industry. By pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, he has given the pacific market to the Chinese. By imposing tariffs on imported goods, he has increased the price of those goods to Americans. By questioning NATO, he has weakened America’s best international defense system. By pulling out of the agreement with Iran, he has reduced our influence in the Middle East and allowed Iran to develop nuclear weapons. His noisy meetings with Kim Jong Un have accomplished nothing at all. Kim has hinted Korea will resume nuclear testing. (Washington Post, July 16)

On the home front, the “best” men the Single Worst President promised to appoint have proven both corrupt and inept. Please read “Trump Team’s Conflicts and Scandals: An Interactive Guide” in Bloomberg News (March 14) to remind ourselves of those “accused of conflicts of interest, misuse of public funds, influence peddling, self-enrichment, working for foreign governments, failure to disclose information, and violating ethics rules. Some are under investigation or facing lawsuits, others have resigned, and five [of these ‘best’] have either been convicted or pleaded guilty.”

The “shocking level of turnover” (Time, April 9) in the cabinet (15 departures out of 24 cabinet positions) weakens the administration and deepens the swamp the Single Worst President had promised to drain. In the face of this president’s continuing efforts to weaken and endanger the country, we should all encourage these four congresswomen to get to work quickly and we should all join together to wish them success.
