Johnson Sworn In Monday Morning – Transylvania County, NC

Polk County Commissioner Jake Johnson has been appointed to the vacant N.C. House of Representatives District 113 seat that represents citizens in Polk County, Transylvania County and part of Henderson County. The public was invited to attend Johnson’s swearing in at 8:45 a.m., Monday, Aug. 5, in the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice in the Womack Building at 40 Courthouse St. in Columbus. Johnson was sworn in to the seat previously held by Rep. Cody Henson, whose resignation became effective July 26.
