Next weekend college football hits full throttle and fans attending games at several North Carolina’s public universities will notice one significant difference – the availability of alcoholic beverages inside the stadiums.

Earlier this year Gov. Roy Cooper signed a bill into law that allows the state’s public universities to serve beer and wine at college football and basketball games.
