Keep The Money

The North Carolina General Assembly recently passed the Taxpayer Refund Act, which would return more than $660 million to many taxpayers across North Carolina. Since the state has received more revenues than anticipated, Republican lawmakers have decided some individuals could receive a maximum rebate of $125 and couples a maximum rebate of $250.
