Anchor Baptist Continues Its 30-Year Mission – Brevard, NC

Anchor Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest continues its 30 years of disaster relief assistance for areas impacted by natural disasters, which began with Hurricane Hugo in 1989, and now, Dorian.

"We've established our base out of Sebring Airport in Sebring, Fla., and having products flown from Sebring to Freeport, a city in the Bahamas," said Pastor Randy Barton. "Our role in this is raising money for fuel, so we can keep the planes fueled for as long as possible."

One fuel bill, he said, could add up to $1,800 a day.
