In 1987, one child died by a lawn dart embedded in her brain. Very quickly the U.S. Government banned lawn darts.

Just recently, in 2019, six people died from vaping e-cigarettes. President Trump tweeted, “New provisional data show that youth use (of e-cigarettes) continues to rise rapidly, and we will not stand idly by.”

Congress quickly responded by introducing numerous bills to protect children from e-cigarettes: HB 293, HB 3700, SB 616, and SB 1253 among others.
