Connie Lynn Johnson Daniels

Connie Lynn Johnson Daniels, 69, of Penrose, passed away Sept. 24, 2019, due to complications associated with fronto-temporal dementia, a disease she had lived with for the last several years.

She was the daughter of the late John and Ruth George Johnson and the adopted daughter of Ray and Faustina Johnson. In addition to her parents, several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.

She was born in Blue Ridge, Ga., before moving with her family to Pisgah Forest at a young age. She graduated from Brevard High School and attended Appalachian State University, graduating in 1972.

Possessing the patience of a saint, she taught seventh grade for over 30 years at Brevard Middle School. She enjoyed reading, going for walks and spending time with her family.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert Daniels; sons, John Daniels (Allison), of Charlottesville, Va., and Jordan Daniels (Kate), of New Orleans, La .; and her sister, Jean Johnson of Pisgah Forest

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations.

The family wishes to thank the hardworking and loving staff at The Kingsbridge House, where she spent the last five years of her life.
