Locke, Kolze Exchange Wedding Vows

Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Thomas Kolze

Sarah Elisabeth Locke, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Pisgah Forest, and Christopher Thomas Kolze M.D., also of Knoxville, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 27, 2019, at Ramble Creek Vineyards in Athens, Tenn. Pastor Kyle Landis was the officiating minister.

The bride is the daughter of David and Terri Locke, of Pisgah Forest. She received her master's degree in the science of nursing with a concentration in anesthesia from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She is a certified registered nurse anesthetist.

The bridegroom is the son of Marcia Kolze, of Texas, and the late Vernon William Kolze, of Borger, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree in engineering and his doctor of medicine degree from Texas Tech University. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

David Allen Locke, father of the bride, gave the bride away. She wore a stretch crepe, fitted silhouette, bridal gown by Alyssa Kristin "Maven," with "v" front, mesh "v" at sides and "v" back to waist, with a long dramatic train.

The matron of honor was Grace Hannah Black, of Anderson, S.C., sister of the bride.

She wore a floral print with an ivory background, formal gown. Stephen Salim, of Texas, friend of the groom, was the best man.

The reception was held at Ramble Creek Vineyards after the ceremony.
