You may remember that last summer we had a magnificent arch of the visible planets that stretched across our evening sky from Mars in the east to Venus in the west. Currently, a less spectacular arch is forming in the evening sky. This arch is taking shape as Venus emerges from the evening twilight low in the west to join Saturn, lying about a third of the way up in the south, and Jupiter, still hanging around in the southwest.
