BRCC Helps Students Envision Their Future

BRCC Trains Future Workforce Blue Ridge Community College Career & College Promise student Asiya Avery uses the Optimus Prime Mill to drill lines into her maze project in Kevin Spradlin's Machining Applications course. Avery, a dual-enrolled high school student who also attends Davidson River School, is earning both high school and college credit tuition free. The community has seen Blue Ridge Community College's big blue tent at sporting events or Saturday festivals in downtown Brevard. Blue Ridge engages in another type of community outreach through the partnership with Transylvania County Schools. The college actively contributes to the career exploration journey that starts during students' formative years in middle school.
