Council Approves Center's Design, Budget – Brevard, NC

Brevard City Council voted unanimously last Wednesday to approve the design plans and budget for the new 5,000-square-foot Mary C. Jenkins Community Center (MCJCC).

During the council's fall retreat, Brevard City Manager Jim Fatland presented the project's approved budget at $2,157,000 for design and construction. The goal is to open the project for bids in June, with 12 months of construction and an estimated completion date in July 2021.
