Altha Fisher Netherton, 81, of Pisgah Forest, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Dillie and Callie Thomas Fisher. In addition to her parents, her husband, Jerry Netherton; three brothers, John, Tony and Perry Fisher; and two sisters, Doreen Chapman and Beatrice “Ducky” Mason, predeceased her.
She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed gardening. She was also fond of her special companion, “Bailey.”
