Residential Sales Trends For Transylvania And Asheville Region

As the 13-county Asheville region settled into fall and what is typically a slower selling season, sales across the region remained steady, rising 3.2 percent over sales last year, according to data from Canopy MLS. Home sales compared to September’s strong activity, decreased 4.4 percent, with some 972 properties sold across the region.
Year-to-date activity showed the region, which includes Buncombe, Burke, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania and Yancey counties, pacing 9.7 percent ahead of sales during the same time period...
