Latest Sheriff's Office Arrests Reported

The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and incidents in November and December.

Arrests

•Kimberly Dawn Duncan, 45, was arrested for felony possession of a schedule I drug on Dec. 12. She was placed in the detention center under a $20,000 bond.

•Matthew Joseph Boles, 38, was arrested for one felony count of breaking and entering to injure/terrorize on Dec. 12. He was placed in the detention center and received no bond for his felony charge.

•Justin Neal Porter, 38, was arrested for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance in jail and one felony count of possession of metham-phetamine on Dec. 15. He was placed in the detention center under an $8,000 bond.

•Daniel Matthew Brown, 40, was arrested for one felony count of possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 12. He was placed in the detention center under a $7,000 bond.

•Thomas Luke Osteen, 38, was arrested for one felony count of failure to appear on Dec. 10. He was placed in the detention center under a $1,000 bond.

•Charles Daniel Briggs, 41, was arrested for one felony count of possession of methamphetamine and one felony count of maintaining a vehicle for drugs on Dec. 6. He was placed in the detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Antonio Esposito, 21, was arrested for one felony count of possession of LSD and one felony count of possession of marijuana schedule VI on Nov. 29. He was placed in the detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•William Timothy Anderson, 42, was arrested for one felony count of possession of a schedule II on Nov. 28. He was placed in the detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Jordan Kent Lance, 21, was arrested for one felony count of failure to appear on Nov. 26. He was placed in the detention center under a $1,000 bond.

•Kevin Joseph Dalton, 49, was arrested for one felony count of possession of methamphetamine on Nov. 11. He was placed in the detention center and under a $5,000 bond.

•Thomas Aaron Gordon, 27, was arrested for one felony count of possession of methamphetamine on Nov. 12. He was placed in the detention center under a $40,000 bond.

•Peyton Gabrielle Walcoff, 21, was arrested for two felony counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle and one felony count of larceny after breaking/entering. She was placed in the detention center under a $20,000 bond.

Incidents

•There was a report of obtaining property by false pretense on Silversteen Road in Lake Toxaway on Dec. 14.

•There was a report of burglary/breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering on East Fork Road in Brevard on Dec. 5. Several items of household items were reported stolen from the residence including jewelry, furniture, clothing and electronics.

•There was a report of theft from motor vehicle in Lake Toxaway on Nov. 29. Several tools were reported stolen from the vehicle.

•There was a report of motor vehicle theft on U.S. 276 South in Brevard on Nov. 28. A Cixi moped was reported stolen from the road.

•There was a report of motor vehicle theft, all other larceny and credit card/ATM fraud on Carrie Lane in Brevard on Nov. 26. A Toyota Corrola and purse containing a smartphone, wallet, credit cards, ID and cash were reported stolen. The victim also reported money was withdrawn from a bank account.

•There was a report of possessing stolen motor vehicles on Donald McCall Road in Balsam Grove on Nov. 15. The vehicles reported were a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge 2500 pickup truck.

•There was a report of indecent liberties with a child and first degree statutory sexual offense at numerous places within Transylvania County and Brevard on Nov. 13.

•There was a report of larceny on Old Heath Road in Brevard on Nov. 10. The victim reported several kitchen appliances and kitchen cabinets were reported stolen from the residence.
