Brevard Overcomes Slow Start To Defeat Lady Tigers

After an ice cold start from the field, the Brevard Lady Blue Devils finally got things rolling on their way to a 48-34 victory over the Rosman Lady Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

Neither side could buy a basket in the opening quarter, as Rosman led 7-5 after the opening eight minutes in front of their home fans.

But Brevard outpaced the Lady Tigers the rest of the way, including a 17-point third quarter that gave them a comfortable lead down the stretch.

Rosman held a 12-8 lead minutes into the second quarter behind a pair of buckets from Reagan Chapman and Landyn Stewart.
