Blue Zones Project Invites The Public To Give Input At Discovery Sessions – Brevard, NC

The Blue Zones Project – Brevard team invites the public to attend a meeting to learn more about this new initiative to promote a healthier community through exercise and natural movement, greater social interactions and food choices. This meeting will also help to inform the group about what the community would like to see as it develops a blueprint of the Blue Zones Project – Brevard work for the next several years.

The first public input session will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 1-2:45 p.m. and the second input session will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 6:30-8 p.m. Both sessions will be held at City Hall – City Council Chambers located at 95 W. Main St. in downtown Brevard.

Mark Burrows, senior community program manager for Blue Zones Project – Brevard, said, “We are excited to introduce Blue Zones Project to the community and receive initial feedback from citizens on how to help Brevard become a healthier community.”
