Lady Tigers Snap Skid With 64-48 Win Over Avery County

A solid defensive effort and a big night from senior Ashlyn Dodson helped the Rosman Lady Tigers get back into the win column on Monday with a 64-48 victory over Avery County.

Dodson finished with a team-high 22 points, as the Lady Tigers trailed just briefly in the first quarter.

The Vikings were never able to solve the Tigers' full-court pressure, resulting in plenty of fast-break buckets and trips to the free throw line.

Rosman had lost four of their last five going into Monday's contest, but put together an all-around performance to snap the skid.
