Every job has its obstacles, and most every job has some benefits—perhaps only pay if nothing else. It’s easy to misunderstand or be ignorant of all the requirements of any job unless you yourself have done it or intimately know someone who has. I consider my job as a teacher similar to a ringmaster at the circus: everything appears to flow smoothly, but there are many moving parts and variables that can throw any or all of the three rings into chaos.

Let us take a few moments and consider a day in the life of a high school teacher.
