Latest Sheriff's Office Arrests Reported – Transylvania County, NC

The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and incidents in December and January.

Arrests

•Lela Dione Henson, 28, was arrested for felony conditional discharge on Jan. 14. She was placed in the detention center under a $10,000 bond.

•Jason Craig Gilliland, 34, was arrested for felony embezzlement on Jan. 10. He was placed in the detention center under a $10,000 bond.

•Nathan Thomas Leaman, 22, was arrested on Jan. 9 for felony possession of firearm by felon. He was placed in the detention center under a $10,000 bond.

Leaman was also charged with felony possession of methamphetamine after his initial arrest and placed under an additional $6,000 bond.

•Alicia Lynn Labreck, 33, was arrested for one felony fugitive charge on Jan. 8.

She was taken to the detention center and placed under a $20,000 bond.

•Donna Marie Galloway, 40, was arrested for felony failure to appear on Jan. 7. She was placed in the detention center under a $6,500 bond.

•Mitchell Darren Hooper, 22, was arrested for felony larceny on Jan. 6. He was placed in the detention center under a $20,000 bond.

•Gerald Lee Scott, 27, was arrested for felony possession of controlled substances on jail premises on Jan. 6.

He was placed under a $32,000 bond.

•Lonny Mac Hogsed, 41, was arrested for felony breaking and entering a place of worship on Jan. 3. He was placed in the detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Charles William Lowe II, 34, was arrested for one felony count of breaking or entering a motor vehicle and two felony counts of larceny of a firearm on Dec. 30.

He was placed in the detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Matthew Wayne Stack, 43, was arrested for two counts of felony possession of firearm by felon on Dec. 29. He was placed in the detention center under a $10,000 bond.

•Jennifer Amanda Stewart, 30, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine. She was placed in the detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Anthony Jermaine Daugherty, 41, was served a habitual felon charge on Dec. 23. He was already in the detention center at the time of his indictment.

•Samuel Edwin Walk, 29, was arrested for felony possession of a firearm by felon on Dec. 23. He was placed in the detention center under a $15,000 bond.

•Stacy Dee Large, 34, was arrested for felony obtaining property by false pretense on Dec. 21. She was placed in the detention center under a $2,500 bond.

•Immanuel Uzziah James Mungin, 18, was arrested for felony second-degree forcible rape on Dec. 18. He was placed in the detention center without a bond.

•Matthew Joseph Boles, 38, was arrested for felony breaking and entering to terrorize/injure on Dec. 16. He was placed in the detention center without a bond.

•Joel David Ornelas, 22, was arrested for two counts of felony larceny. He was placed in the detention center under a $10,000 bond.

Incidents

•There was a report of larceny on Dolly Masters Road in Brevard on Jan. 14. A trailer and mower were reported stolen.

•There was a report of motor vehicle theft and other larceny on Greenville Highway in Brevard on Jan. 8. A motorcycle and trailer were reported stolen.

•There was a report of obtaining property by false pretense on Newton Road in Rosman on Jan. 8. Ten thousand dollars in cash was reported stolen from the victim.

•There was a report of larceny by employee on Cassell Road in Brevard on Dec. 30. Syringes, needles and medication were reported stolen from the business.

•There was a report of theft from a motor vehicle at the Looking Glass Rock trailhead in Pisgah Forest on Dec. 24.

Snowboarding equipment and an iPad were reported stolen from the vehicle.

•There was a report of theft from motor vehicle and injury to personal property at the Art Loeb Parking Area in Pisgah Forest on Dec. 22. Cash and several credit cards, along with a purse, were reported stolen from the vehicle.
