Tommy William Holden

Tommy William Holden, 70, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020.

He was born Aug. 1, 1949, in Transylvania County, to the late Luther Monroe Holden and Eunice Cathleen Ward Holden. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Gayla Hope Holden; a daughter, Trisha Riddle, and a son-in-law, Larry Riddle.

He loved his family and was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved hunting, and he was a member of Old Toxaway Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Holden, and wife, Deb, of Seneca, S.C., Kevin Holden, and wife, Laura, of Balsam Grove, and Kris McCall, and wife, Erika, of Brevard; one daughter, Ravonda Ball, of Asheville; two brothers, Billy Holden, and wife, Hazel, of Lake Toxaway, and Harry Holden, and wife, Debra, of Brevard; nine grandchildren, Christie, Karyn, Michael, Kerry, Abby, Eli, Hunter, Benjamin and Alex; and four great-grandchildren, Jun, Norah, Sarith and Nate.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Old Toxaway Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28732.
