Blue Devils' Comeback Bid Falls Short Against Panthers

Despite outscoring the visiting Franklin Panthers in three of four quarters Monday night, the Brevard Blue Devils couldn't dig themselves out of an early hole as they suffered a 54-48 loss.

Franklin jumped all over Brevard in the opening eight minutes, taking a 16-4 lead after the first quarter.

And although the Blue Devils went toe to toe with the Panthers the rest of the night, they were never able to put together a big run to climb back from the deficit.
