Lady Blue Devils Capture Mountain Six Tournament Title

Last Wednesday, the Brevard Lady Blue Devils erased an eight-point, fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Franklin, 44-42, and win the Mountain Six Conference tournament. What was already a great season became historically great for the Brevard Lady Blue Devils last Wednesday, as they delivered a come-from-behind victory to win their first conference tournament title in 30 years.

After rolling past Pisgah, 55-35, in the semifinals, Brevard faced Franklin for the Mountain Six tournament crown.

The Panthers led nearly the entire game, holding a 30-22 advantage going into the fourth quarter.

But Brevard wouldn't be denied, as they got hot from floor and poured in 22 points to edge out a 44-42 victory.
