Expo Reveals Power Of Science In Local Schools

Walk into the Transylvania County Library's Rogow Room for an hour one recent evening and you might have thought you were in a giant play room.

Children drove remote control vehicles and played with blocks, middle schoolers displayed earrings and aimed drones, and high schoolers talked about what they did in the woods or with their computers.

What is happening in Transylvania County Schools?

The Science and Technology Expo on Jan. 30 brought together stages of an experiment playing out in real life.
