Oskar Blues 4-Miler Set To Hit The Road On Saturday

The Oskar Blues 4-Miler returns once again this Saturday, with hundreds of runners expected to turn out. The race begins at 11 a.m., with a kids’ fun run beginning shortly after. Registration is available by going to pisgahrunning.com.

Packet pickup will be available at Oskar Blues on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and the morning of the event. Participants get one free beverage with entry and chip bib timing. There will be live music, as well as the Oskar Blues food truck and pastries from Bracken Mountain Bakery.

This will be the eighth year of the event, which helps promote the Smart Kids Running Program affiliated with the Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Brevard.

Jay Coan, pictured to the left, with Brevard Insurance and Auto Owners are the title sponsors of the event.
