Teacher Input Is Critical

Just over two weeks ago Chad Roberson, an architect with Clark Nexsen, told the Transylvania County Board of Education, “There has been a ton of input that we have gotten on these projects.” Roberson was referring to the plans for the extensive renovations at Brevard High and Rosman High/Middle schools.

This past Monday night, however, several teachers from Brevard High School presented a starkly different perspective. They claimed they had met only once with the architects and those meetings came well after much of the design work had been done.
