Trio Of Blue Devils Named To Mountain Six All-Conference

Brevard senior Drew Scott was named first-team Mountain Six All-Conference after leading the Blue Devils in points (17.5 per game) and rebounds (7.1 per game) this season.

The Mountain Six released its all-conference roster last week, with a trio of Blue Devils making the cut.

Leading the way was senior Drew Scott and sophomore Joe Powell, with senior Keishon Couch earning honorable mention.

Scott led Brevard in scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Keishon Couch received honorable mention all-conference. Couch was third on the team in scoring and led Brevard with 79 assists and 35 steals.

He had a season-high 30 points against Pisgah and scored in double figures in all but two games. Scott also finished with three double-doubles on the year.

Powell was second behind Scott in both categories, as he averaged 10.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

He also tallied 29 assists and 26 steals. Powell had two double-doubles, including a 27-point, 12-rebound performance against Pisgah.

Couch was third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.1 points per game, and was also third in rebounding, with 4.7 boards per game.

He was also the team's leading facilitator, with 79 assists, and led Brevard with 35 steals.

It was the first all-conference selection for all three players.

The Blue Devils finished the season at 8-14.
