This year's dogwood bloom seems to have been particularly beautiful.

Maybe it's just the need for light at the end of the tunnel? Maybe it's just the abundant rain and early start to spring that seemed to hold on with a cooler middle? But I don't think I remember a dogwood bloom so heavy and as long lasting as this year's.

It was a welcome sight, as several of our days have been cloudy and rainy, topped with our current state of crisis. The bright white blooms were a sign of hope.
