Putin And Xi Are Smiling

It’s easy to envision both Putin and Xi reveling in the current state of affairs in the United States. They have dreamed of chaos in the United States and that’s what we have.

Does anyone think that China is not complicit in the virus issue? More information is surfacing that proves they were either incompetent or intentionally failed to contain the spread of the virus and refused our assistance. The refusal of our assistance and not even allowing our scientists into the country is enough evidence to prove what their intent was.

It is typical for the Democrats and the left-wing media to criticize the president for his handling of the problem. That’s just a continuation of their behavior since November 2016. What else is new?

A pet peeve for me is second guessing — Monday morning quarterbacking. The virus came out of nowhere and has infected 184 countries.

President Trump has had to navigate a fluid issue that changes with every hour. He has had to balance the advice of the medical experts with the good of the country from an economic standpoint and do all that considering the new data that comes out everyday. He sees the economy sliding into an abyss that will ultimately claim more lives than the virus. Deaths that will be caused by suicide, crime, depression and drug overdose.

Could Schiff, Pelosi, and the other Trump haters do any better? Of course not. It’s easy to criticize when you are not having to make the decisions.

Getting back to Putin and Xi, they see the virus shutting down our economy, the ongoing fight between the Democrats and Repub-licans, the unemployment rate at the highest level since the Great Depression, the left-wing media stirring the pot, and general unrest. I’m sure they are saying, “Can things get any better for us?”

Finally, in the book “The Art Of War,” the author Sun Tzu outlines how to win a war without firing a shot. Putin and Xi just might have read that book.
