2020-2021 BUDGET

In accordance with N.C.G.S. 159-12(b), the Brevard City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2020-2021 on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. The hearing will be held in Multipurpose Chambers, Transylvania County Building, 101 South Broad Street, Brevard, NC. The public hearing is being held to receive comment from the public on the proposed budget.

The Public Hearing format will be revised to comply with Governor Roy Cooper’s Emergency Orders issued in response to the COVID19 pandemic. The meeting room will not accommodate more than one speaker at a time, but you may submit your comments any time between the publication of this Notice and the expiration of the twenty-four hour period following the public hearing, which will be closed subject to the receipt of such comments received.

Council will take action in connection with the Public Hearing during its meeting on June 29, 2020.

The proposed FY 2020-2021 Budget has been submitted to City Council and a copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the Office of the City Clerk weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
