BRCC New Pathway Helps Aspiring Teachers

Aspiring teachers have a new career pathway that can begin during high school. Blue Ridge Career and College Promise (CCP) students will have the opportunity to take part in one of two new pathways focused on teacher preparation this fall. These new transfer pathways follow the traditional Associate in Arts and Associate in Science pathways, with the addition of three new courses; EDU187, EDU279, and SOC225. This teacher preparation pathway will allow high school students who are interested in a teaching career to get a jump start on their postsecondary plans.
