Notice of Public Hearing Proposed Amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Brevard Rezoning the Jennings Industrial Park Planned Development District to the Mountain Industrial Drive Planned Development District

The Brevard City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 15, 2020. The hearing will begin at 5:30 PM or as soon thereafter as possible in the Multipurpose Chambers, Transylvania County Administration Building, 101 S. Broad Street, Brevard, NC to consider the following:

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map of the City of Brevard to rezone the below described property from Jennings Industrial Park Planned Development District to the Mountain Industrial Drive Planned Development District.

The Public Hearing format will be revised to comply with Governor Roy Cooper’s Emergency Orders issued in response to the COVID19 pandemic. The meeting room will not accommodate more than one speaker at a time, but you may submit your comments any time between the publication of this Notice and the expiration of the twenty-four hour period following the public hearing, which will be closed subject to the receipt of such comments received.
