Virginia Price Penland, 79, of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 5, 2020. She was the daughter of the late John Nelson Price and Mae Johnson Price of Brevard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Penland.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Woodson, brother, J.C. Price, and niece, Paula Aiken.

She was a lifelong resident of Transylvania County, a graduate of Brevard High School, a graduate of Blanton Business College, and worked at Ecusta for over 30 years.
