National Safety Month
June swept in like a breath of fresh air, with summer sun shining, soft rain soaking in and our social restrictions lifted. Our county is waking up from the pandemic spring to the new normal summer. For all of the fun that comes with summer, the National Safety Council named June as National Safety Month, reminding us to recognize the risks that come along with the season, including high temperatures, dehydration, malnutrition and outdoor recreation risks as well as the COVID-19 pandemic.
