DuPont State Forest Vistor Dies After Cardiac Arrest

A DuPont State Recerational Forest visitor died Sunday afternoon after suffering a cardiac event according to officials.
Cedar Mountain Fire and Rescue responded to a call of a possible seizure on Triple Falls Trail around 2 p.m. Sunday said Jimmy Jones, public information officer for the department. Jones said Connestee Fire Rescue and Little River Fire Department also responded to the incident.
DuPont State Forest Supervisor Jason Guidry said the man was in his early 60s and the event occurred on the Triple Falls Steps. No more information about the visitor is being released.
