So, if you’re a prep sports fan who’s been keeping their fingers crossed for hopes of a fall season, you should be thankful to have Gov. Roy Cooper as your head man.
Last week, as coronavirus cases increase in North Carolina, Gov. Cooper extended the state’s Phase Two COVID-19 restrictions for three weeks.
That made the NCHSAA push back their date for loosening workout restrictions from July 6 to July 17.
