The decision by Gov. Roy Cooper that schools should reopen next month under Plan B, which calls for both in-person and online instruction, is the most prudent one at this time.

Plan A, which called for all students to attend school in-person, is too dangerous at this time. The number of COVID-19 cases, the percentage of postive tests and the hospitalization are all increasing.
