Destination Hike: Avery Creek Falls In Pisgah

A trip to Avery Creek Falls can be hiked as a roughly 1-mile out and back hike, or extended into a loop trail for a longer Pisgah adventure. I recently explored these falls for the first time, and they are a great option to escape from some of the more crowded "greatest hits" waterfall hikes in the area if you're looking for a quick hike.

I would recommend, however, visiting this waterfall on a weekday, or if you must go on a weekend, go very early or later in the day to avoid seeing many other hikers on the trail and be able to secure a parking spot.

Avery Creek Falls is about .57 miles...
